The United States Preventive Task Force is recommending routine screening for depression for all patients visiting a physician. I have done that for 45 years, using the Zung Test for depression. That would be great except that they are recommending routine use of antidepressant drugs. Antidepressant drugs SUCK!!!! And most counseling/psychotherapy is not much better.
