A recent study proves once again that steroid shots for low back pain are useless! What the article does not address is the greater risk of this dangerous procedure. I avoided it in the 1960’s when I wrote about the risk.

The fact that this procedure continues almost half a century later is just one example of Popular Delusions & the Madness of Crowds. The risks of infections and starting diabetes remains. If a physician recommends this to you, run away!!!!!!
