SHAMANIC ASTROLOGY with Sao

I have been interested in astrology since age 16, and I have been fortunate to have astrology readings by two of the best—Vickie Greene and Patricia Bechdolt. Recently a friend gave me a super gift of a Shamanic Astrology reading with Sao. Most westerners use Tropical Astrology which is based on orientation of the earth in relation to the Sun and planets of the solar system. Sidereal (eastern) Astrology deals with the position of the Earth to both of these as well as stars of the celestial sphere. In Tropical Astrology, the sun, moon and rising signs are key to the most basic understanding of personality, with remarkable variations created by all the interrelations of the various signs, such as Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces, as well as north node, south node and many other variations.
The immediate attraction of Shamanic Astrology to me is its use of the 12 astrology signs as Archetypes. My two hour session with Sao was magnificent.
Some of the archetypes are:
Aries/Ram — Aggressive Play, Rugged Individuals
Taurus/Bull — Intimacy and Aesthetics as with Aphrodite

Scorpio/Scorpion—Command of Feelings & Desires—Merging of Will & Desires
Sagittarius/Centaur — Quest for Meaning of Life/Holy Grail/Spiritual Truth
Capricorn/Goat—Management and Control to keep tribal order for everyone
Aquarius/Waterbearer—Life as a Grand Experiment Seeking the Higher Chakras
Pisces/Fish — Selfless Service to Others and Service to Spirit. When the Moon is in Pisces the individual has already experience the sensitivity and compassion of the open heart?

The Moon is your Tribal Ancestral History, Lineage (habits, patterns of behavior)
Mercury is Communication, How a Person Thinks
Venus is Feminine Energy, Universal Anima
Mars is Masculine Energy, Universal Animus
Jupiter is Fastest Path to Liberation, Expansion
Saturn is Man-made Law (which needs to become Human-made Law) Creative Encounter with Limiting Conditions
Uranus is Whatever It Takes To Bring About Change
Neptune brings in New Visions/Dreams Through Identity Crisis
Pluto is Law of Life, Deepest Fears, Incorporating the Shadow?
Even though my Sun sign is Sagittarius, my Moon in Pisces and several other planetary configurations lead me, according to Sao, to having three Ph.D.’s in Pisces! Many other aspects were equally enlightening.
