Want less “drugs”? Try more hugs! On my heartstrings, touching tugs… We have been taught to fear human touch, the tactile treasure that heals so much. And true-inappropriate contact does exist but MUST we fear connection? Huggers desist! Dangers, ‘strangers’, toxins abound. And as I continue to practice my Jin Shin Jyutsu ® and other healing work, I ponder the changes in this world of ours. Remaining aware that as drug sales (prescription and non) escalate and appear to rule, that teachers no longer can touch a child in school, and that we appear to hold our cell phones more than we touch our family members, friends and pets…the ‘cells’ of our bodies, minds and spirits are weakened and become imprisoned – another cell – and yet, I trust that with awareness and attention we can remedy this need to be connected and protected! |
