Multivitamin Intake Protects Telomeres

Despite the fact that many physicians insist there is no benefit from taking a multivitamin, one study shows how ignorant they are! Women who take a good multivitamin daily have telomeres an average of 5.1% longer than those not on a multivitamin! Vitamin E and vitamin C were both associated with longer telomeres. And of course, this study did not even take into account the optimal intake of all vitamins and minerals. Cheraskin in the 70’s showed that the optimal intake is significantly above the RDA!
