From Glutton to Fasting

C. Norman Shealy, M.D., Ph.D.

There is no question that the Atkins diet works for many, but who stays on it. The Barnes diet works even better but who stays on it I have no doubt that many fad diets work. Why is it that each fad morphs eventually into another. What happened to common sense and will power? Yes green coffee bean extract may help but what happens to these people over the rest of their lives .Fire Bliss and Water Bliss work well and we still do not know how many will still be normal weight 30 years later. Cutting calories and exercising work long term, but who has the will power to do just that. Now we have yet another fad diet and I suspect it works, but is eating “whatever you want” for 5 out of 7 days really good nutrition. Five days of McDonalds junk. See these two links and, if you believe, go for it! Meanwhile, I prefer real food every day, and just enough to keep my BMI at 22!
