5 Activities to Help with Depression

Most articles about activities to help with depression cover things like walking and spending time in nature. Although these activities can help, we know that the most beneficial activities do more than help. They can heal much more effectively than all the drugs, psychiatrists and psychologists in the world!

And healing is important for two humongous reasons:

  1. Depression is a major cause of suicide.
  2. All antidepressant drugs are worse than the depression itself!

So how do you heal from depression? By taking the holistic approach. It is infinitely more effective.

The following are the activities for depression that we recommend to all our patients who are struggling with it.
  1. Tried-and-true supplementation.

For almost 50 years, we have recommended a combination of tryptophan 6 to 7 grams, B complex 50mg and lithium orotate 10 to 20 mg daily.
  2. Additional supplementation.

Another excellent approach is the use of palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) 600 mg twice daily. Palmitoylethanolamide raises anandamide the natural cannabinoid that the body produces. It is also known as the Bliss hormone.
  3. Train your brain.

Of course everything is the result of thinking. Thinking sets in motion spiritual forces to bring about change in body, mind, emotions, companions, hopes and despair. Every thought is a prayer, and you cannot afford the harm of negative thinking! In fact, every word you think impacts everything in your life! So it just makes sense that correct thinking is one of the best activities to help with depression. You can train your brain to think the helpful, healing and positive thoughts you want with autogenic training and the complete Biogenics® program. Both of which are totally safe and much more effective than any drug.
  4. Electrotherapeutic activities.

Of course the use of the Shealy-Sorin Gamma PEMF® is better than all the drugs, psychiatrists and psychologists in the world! Interestingly, the Shealy-Sorin Gamma PEMF® enhances anandamide production just as PEA does. The world’s best electrotherapy for depression is the Shealy-Sorin Gamma PEMF®. First, we proved that using the Gamma PEMF® cured 10 long-standing opioid addicts, now 4 years free of addiction! This alone makes it better than all the mood drugs and psychiatrists in the world! It helps depression by increasing ATP-Adenosine Triphosphate, our own rechargeable battery, giving us increased energy, healing, and repair of all metabolic functions! It is like a spark plug or catalyst for energy production throughout the body! The Gamma PEMF® also recharges the Transmembrane Potential (TMP), enhances the sodium-potassium pump, increases cellular pH to assist our essential alkalinity, improves oxygen assimilation and micro circulation, and lowers blood viscosity. All of this leads to stronger bones, improved beta endorphins (the natural opioids) and pain relief, better sleep and human growth hormone secretion, more energy, better overall blood circulation, and improved immunity. It has three different sweep frequencies: chakra sweep which helps with overall healing, Gamma which puts the brain into detachment from depression, and Delta which is for pain control and sleep. The Gamma PEMF® is highly effective in treating depression. It can be used except when you are in rain, the bath or the shower. The only contraindication is in someone with a pacemaker, and we would not use any PEMF device in someone who is pregnant, as we simply cannot do the research to prove PEMF safety in pregnancy. Cranial Electrical Stimulation is another electrotherapeutic activity to help with depression. It is also infinitely better and safer than any antidepressant drug.
  5. Physical exercise.

Yes, it is true physical exercise is one of the most effective antidepressants. Thirty minutes of moderate physical activity daily is better than 10 years of so-called psychotherapy.
